V tomto webinári detailne vysvetlíme všetko o produktovej rade antén RF elements - symetrické horny, asymetrické horny, patch array carrier class, a samozrejme aj TwistPort konektor a jeho výhody. Počas webinára bude možnosť spýtať sa akékoľvek otázky ohľadne našich produktov. Registrujte sa tu: link
  2. Dobry den, v slovencine sme nahravku zatial nezverejnili. V dohladnej dobe ho budeme opakovat. Ak vam to staci, dovtedy vam mozeme ponuknut anglicku verziu.

Hi Jean, you might benefit from using higher frequency bands, but also make sure you use antennas with low side lobes. This heavily depends on the distances you want to cover. Either LTE, or 5 GHz will have potentially smaller coverage. What concerns antennas, our symmetrical and asymmetrical horns which have industry leading side lobe performance fit for sector coverage at 5 GHz. Possibly check some of our webinars such as Increasing Throughput or Noise Rejection if interested. Let me know if you have any more questions.
  5. HI, our horns only work in the 5 GHz band, so no, the 3.65 Rocket will not work with our antennas.
  6. Hi, that depends on the distances you want to cover and how many customers you want to connect per sector. A good place to start is our Link Calculator to find out which horn would fit the job (video guide on how to use the calculator is here). If you are switching from omni you probably want to cover the whole 360 degree circle around the site, so dividing the 360 into for example 6 sectors using 60 degree asymmetrical horns can work well. If you have time to spare, watch our webinar Migration to Horns 101 where we explain how people usually start out with Horns. Let me know if you have any questions once you watch the webinar or are not sure about something!
  7. Hi Greg, what CPE are you using?

  9. Hi, it is compatible with all the RF elements HORN antennas combined with TPA-PAF TwistPort adaptor. It is also compatible with RF elements patch array sectors with the default bracket delivered in the LTU Rocket package. The older version of the TPA-PAF adaptor might need a small modification - plastic insert needs a few chips removed as shown HERE.
  10. The highlighted cable (in the attached picture) is the horizontal one, given that you mount it in the default position - with the panel (also circled in red on the bottom of the pic) facing down. The isolation between the ports is good enough to leave the vertical polarization cable disconnected (no need to connect it to a matched load or anything else).
  11. You're right, the Fresnel zone reflections are not a problem for circularly polarized setup. It is possible to make a TPA with circular polarization, but as of now we do not plan that. You guessed it right - it's all about the MOQ vs profitability when it comes to mass production.
  12. It is possible to make that, why do you need a circularly polarized antenna?
  13. Nice setup, thank you for sharing!

  15. Hi Francesco, to your questions: - the drain hole is there to protect the inside from condensed water. By sealing it with silicon properly, it will be IP66 rated - the hole is small enough. - yes the red plugs provide IP66 rating - more on this in the private message just sent Best regards

  17. The azimuth is not 'calculated' either, the calculator merely shows you the 'heading' of the antenna in the Multi CPE setup. The direction of the 'heading' is manual, and it is the clockwise angle from the North.
  18. The old one will have 'TPA-PAF-04_redu_1_v3' and the new one 'TPA-PAF-04_redu_1_v4' printed directly on the part.
  19. I see, the red dot connected to the dashed red line (with multi CPE setup) indicates the boresight direction of the AP antenna. The downtilt in this case is left up to the user, because with multiple CPEs there is no single downtilt that is optimal for all the CPEs at the same time.
  20. Yes, it will. You can either 3d print the plastic part (download files here) or remove a few pieces from the one you might have by your self - the parts you need to remove are highlighted here. People have easily done it by them selves with a few tools. The new version of TPA-PAF will have the plastic part that will fit the LTU Rocket as well.
  21. The downtilt is a parameter you have to change manually, but when you place the AP somewhere else, you always get the information about recommended downtilt, which you have to set manually (the change might often be very small because of the antenna main lobe properties, but be assured it recalculates with every position change) As for the rest of - thanks for the feedback, we'll look into it!
