garyhois
Hi, we've been working on a project using the 40 degree 5GHz antennas, 9 per pole giving 360 degree coverage over 1km. We have a problem with planning permission in the UK restricting the deployment in certain locations, as we are restricted to the number of visible antennas per pole/rooftop. We are allowed to encapsulated the multi antennas into one enclosure and then with respect to planning all will be good again. My question is. Can we enclose the horn antennas into a tube like enclosure and if so what is the maximum allowed material thickness? We could remove the front cover from the antennas if that would help Thanks in advance Gary

dmcdon
I have the same issue in a couple of locations. It would be great to make us aware of a way to combine multiple horns into a single visible unit.
Tom
I don't think this is a direction we want to go with our products. Putting several horns into one enclosure brings more problems than benefits, so the trade off is not worth the effort.
