Burc
As you well know these antennas are compatiable with UBNT Rocket M5 and Mikrotik RB Frequencies goes down to 4,9 Ghz and up to 6,1 Ghz on UBNT.And there is Super channel on mikrotik. Do Twistport Antennas support these frequency range?

Tasos
Hello Francisco and Burc! Currently the TwistPort adapters that are used in the Horn antennas have a frequency range of 5.4 to 5.9GHz. Frequencies below 5.4GHz are not supported. Faisal
Hi Tasos, Sorry for possibly repetition... but can you all share what is the behavior (how bad does the gain drop off) with freq. less than 5.4 Ghz ? I fully understand the official position as stated above... but need to know what happens below 5.4 ? (it's not like it stops working ! ) Thanks

(it's not like it stops working ! ) Thanks Faisal, The performance drop of the current TP adapters below 5.4GHz is not a big function of gain but more of VSWR and Cross Pol Isolation performance. Gain below 5.4Ghz drops about 1db in the Hpol and 3db in the Vertical. The big difference is Cross Pol Isolation drops much more in the lower band as well as VSWR goes up to an unacceptable level for us (more than 1.8). So you are correct, the antenna does not just stop working, it just doesn't perform as well as the rest of band which it’s tuned for. BTW- We are working on our next generation of adapters which will have full band coverage, with no compromises. Stay tuned....

Guest Calpine
Please make a UBNT AC Prism adapter, or does the current AC Shielded version support prism if you take the shield off?
Guest Aaron D
Received an email from Tasos about the UBNT R5AC-PRISM adapter: Aaron, We are working on one and it will be released mid year. Guest Calpine, no, the TwistPort Adaptor for Rocket AC (shielded as well as unshielded) is not compatible with Rocket 5AC PRISM. We are working on TwistPort adaptor for Rocket 5AC PRISM and it will be released mid year
Guest
When will the adapters work 5.1 to 5.4?
Guest
My guess is that if they are making a twist port adapter for the R5AC Prism, it will have full band coverage. The existing R5AC-PTMP is only capable of 5.4-5.9, so that's probably why they designed it for that coverage.
Guest Mike
We are looking to cover also lower band. Stay tuned for more info
Guest Mike
TwistPort™ Adaptor for Rocket 5AC Prism or any other TwistPort™ Adaptors branded as "V2" now support full 5GHz band and more, 5180MHz - 6400MHz.
